I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a wide look at the societal norms, systems and environments that play a significant role in shaping us. Therapy offers us space to understand what we've inherited, what we've adapted to and what we may no longer want to carry forward. It's also a place to celebrate growth as we continue to understand who we're becoming.
I tend to work well with individuals working through life transitions, family-of-origin conflict or questions of identity beyond the roles they've been primed to play. I also work with small business owners and creatives facing the particular questions that can arise around work, identity and change.
I bring clinical training, curiosity and deep attention to what emerges in our conversations. Together, we'll discover what's important for you at this time and what becomes possible when familiar ways of understanding yourself begin to shift. Our work together is a collaborative effort.
I'm particularly drawn to the connections between the personal and the collective, the story and the context, the particular experience and the larger question underneath it. My major therapy influences are rooted in Narrative Therapy, Hakomi and collaborative dialogic approaches. I'm interested in how the stories we tell about ourselves take shape within families, relationships, communities and culture, and how those stories evolve.
I hold an associate license in Marriage and Family Therapy in Washington State and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. My education has moved across systems, businesses and human relationships, which continues to inform the wide lens I bring to my work as a therapist.
