Diana Doganiero

Hi, I'm Diana Doganiero, LMHCA. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington, and I work with adults (18+) experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with clients who are exploring their identity, relationships, and cultural experiences. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and my goal is to create a safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

Background and experience

I was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to Washington in 2016. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Washington and later completed my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both community mental health and higher-acuity treatment settings, supporting diverse clients working through anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related experiences, and major life transitions. Outside of therapy, I enjoy figure skating, watching hockey games, taking my corgi Stella on walks, and relaxing with a good book.

Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. I believe there is no one size fits all approach, so I will always tailor our work to what feels most helpful and supportive for you. Some of the modalities I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-based approaches. My hope is to create a safe and welcoming space for you to explore your experiences openly, build insight, and develop tools to feel more grounded and connected to yourself.
